Who is Gage Stills
Hey, I’m Gage Stills, and I’m proud to call Racine, Wisconsin, my home. I’ve lived here nearly my whole life, and I’ve seen firsthand the struggles working people face every single day.
I know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck. I’ve been working since I was in high school, and now I want to work for you.
For too long, our district has been represented by people who don’t understand what we’re going through. Leaders who serve political parties, corporate donors, and special interests, not the voters who put them there.
That ends with me.
I’m not a career politician. I cannot be bought. I’m refusing all corporate PAC money because I don’t work for corporations, I work for the people.
I’m fighting for:
An economy that uplifts working Americans
An education system that doesn’t bankrupt students or families
A healthcare system that people can actually afford
An America that protects all its people, no matter the color of their skin
And a country that puts human rights at the forefront, at home and abroad
This campaign is about all of us. It’s about building a future where dignity, justice, and opportunity aren’t just promises, they’re real.
Let’s build it together.
Where Does Gage Stand on These Important Issues
-
I know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck not knowing if I was going to be able to afford food. I believe no one working full-time should be struggling to survive. Our economy should reward hard work not punish it. That means raising the minimum wage to a livable wage, protecting unions, ending tax breaks for billionaires, and putting small businesses and working families first.
We need an economy that works from the bottom up, not the top down. I'm fighting for an America where every worker can afford rent, food, healthcare, and dignity.

I personally know far too many people who avoid going to the doctors due to price. Healthcare costs in the United States are the highest in the developed world, yet over 27 million Americans remain uninsured. Millions more are underinsured, skipping care or medication due to cost. Medicare for All would replace the current patchwork system with a single-payer plan that covers every American from birth, eliminating co-pays, deductibles, and surprise bills.
This plan would reduce administrative waste currently estimated at over $600 billion annually and allow the government to negotiate lower prices for prescription drugs. Countries with similar systems spend significantly less per person while achieving better overall health outcomes.
Access to care shouldn’t depend on employment status, income level, or private insurance networks. A healthier society is a more productive and just society, and it starts with guaranteed healthcare for all.

Student loans are crippling American opportunities. Every American deserves access to a quality education without a lifetime of debt. Today, student loan debt in the U.S. totals over $1.7 trillion, and nearly half of all borrowers say it has delayed major life decisions like starting a family or buying a home. I support tuition-free public college, community college, and trade programs to ensure that education is a pathway to opportunity not a financial burden.
We also need to fully fund K-12 schools and ensure every child learns in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. That means paying teachers fairly, reducing classroom sizes, and removing barriers to learning like hunger. I support a universal free school lunch program, modeled after Minnesota’s successful policy, to ensure that no child is too hungry to focus.
Universal access to education including nutritious meals is one of the best investments we can make in our economy, democracy, and future.

I am tired of Washington putting the working people last. Washington has been bought and it’s working exactly how the billionaires want it to. Corporate PACs funnel millions into campaigns, lobbyists write our laws, and massive corporations get tax breaks while working families struggle to afford groceries. I’m running for Congress to break this cycle.
I refuse to take a single cent from corporate PACs. I support banning congressional stock trading, closing the revolving door between lobbyists and lawmakers, and overturning Citizens United. Our government should work for the people not the highest bidder.

Civil rights are not a relic of the past they are a promise we are still fighting to fulfill. In today’s America, voting rights are under attack, reproductive freedom is being stripped away, LGBTQ+ families face growing threats, and immigrants are being detained and deported without due process.
I believe in an America that protects every person’s dignity, freedom, and humanity. I support restoring and expanding the Voting Rights Act, passing the Equality Act, codifying Roe v. Wade into law, and protecting undocumented communities from cruelty and neglect.
The fight for civil rights never ended, and together, we can begin a new era of justice.
